Job Description
NEW Ultrasonographer Opportunity – Full-Time Days | Northern Vermont
A healthcare facility in northern Vermont is seeking a full-time Ultrasonographer to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This role primarily covers 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend and on-call shifts.
Responsibilities:

Operate sonography equipment to produce diagnostic images

Follow protocols and adapt procedures to patient needs
-
Accurately differentiate normal and abnormal findings
-
Communicate with patients, providers, and team members
-
Complete timely clinical documentation
Qualifications:
-
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
-
Active RDMS, AIUM certification, or board eligible
-
Specialty registration in AB, BR, OB, or VT within 6 months of hire
-
Current BLS certification
Work Environment:
-
Physical demands include lifting, standing, walking, and occasional bending/pushing/pulling

Adherence to PPE and safety protocols
