Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Employment Type: Direct Hire (Full Time)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $97k – $143k/year

About the Role:
The Mammography Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in an outpatient environment. Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing diagnostic and mammography procedures, ensuring patient safety, assisting radiologists, and maintaining imaging equipment. This role requires adherence to radiation safety standards and established customer service and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and mammography imaging exams

• Prepare and position patients for procedures

• Assist radiologists when needed

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment

• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure

• Perform QA/QC tasks and other assigned duties

• Maintain continuing education and certification requirements

• Provide high-quality patient care and service

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program

• NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required

• ARRT registered (RT) required

• Advanced Mammography certification preferred or obtained within 1 year of hire

• Completion of 40 hours mammography training including anatomy, physiology, QA/QC, and 25 supervised exams per MQSA standards

• BLS (AHA) required or obtained within 90 days

• Must meet continuing education requirements (24 ECE every 2 years and 15 mammo CEUs every 36 months)
