Mobile Sonographer – General (Days)
Virginia Beach, VA | Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with limited weekend coverage

Join a mobile diagnostic imaging team that brings ultrasound services directly to patients where they live and receive care. As a Mobile Sonographer, you’ll perform a variety of ultrasound studies in nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional centers, and other patient sites — delivering compassionate, high-quality imaging services on the go.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform and process general and vascular ultrasound exams using portable sonographic equipment

• Transmit digital studies for Radiologist review and interpretation

• Travel independently to patient locations throughout the assigned region (company vehicle provided)

• Verify patient identity and orders, ensuring clinical accuracy and compliance

• Maintain imaging equipment and documentation per protocol

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, facility staff, and management

• Uphold the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and medical ethics

What You’ll Need:

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program

• Current registration with ARDMS or CCI (RCIS)

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites

• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

• Excellent communication, organization, and independent decision-making skills
