Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 04/24/2023Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1700.00 - 2000.00

2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.

Required Qualifications
Credentials required: RDMS or ARRT
Specific unit requirements: BLS, Registered, and NM License
