Maintenance Technician
Full Time
Mesa Springs is a 72-bed behavioral hospital located in Ft. Worth, TX. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families.

Position Details:
- Effectively performs routine and incident specific maintenance tasks.
- Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans, and policies and procedures.
- Assists in assuring a safe and risk preventative environment.
- Ensure, in conjunction with the plant operations department, a safe and risk-free environment within OSHA regulations and hospital standards.
- Complies with MSDS regulations and ensures documentation is current within the guidelines required by law.
- Assists in any emergencies that may arise, as requested.
- Inspects safety of all patient areas, bathrooms, outside areas, etc.
- Ensures adequate preventative maintenance of building facility/equipment.
- Completes safety inspections as instructed by Plant Operations Manager.
- Tags and inspects all electrical equipment.
Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience
- Valid drivers license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto.
- Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements helpful.
Experience:
- Previous hospital housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred.
