Leadership Opportunity: Columbus Springs East - Director of Outpatient

Columbus Springs East is a 72-bed behavioral hospital located in Columbus, Ohio. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. At Columbus Springs East we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives®.

The Outpatient department plays an essential role in helping fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”. Outpatient team members directly affect the care and treatment our patients receive in the outpatient setting. As a Director of Outpatient, you are responsible for Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient service delivery at multiple sites and the operational and clinical structure and performance of the Outpatient Department.

Position Details

  • Ensure your team accurately and timely completes clinical treatment programs and activities.
  • Supervises family and group counseling and develops and implements a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities/processes
  • Oversees discharge planning to ensure an optimal post program transition
  • Responsible for ensuring that clinical documentation and operations meet all regulatory and other standards
  • Participates as a key member of the executive leadership team and collaborates with Business Development for program growth initiatives

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work/Social Services/Related Field
  • Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling licensure (LISW, LPCC, or IMFT preferred) and valid driver’s license
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 day of employment

Experience:

  • Previous experience in inpatient healthcare preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required. Prior clinic or practice management preferred.
