Seeking a Full-Time Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor!
Details:
The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor is responsible for diagnosing substance use disorders, while providing treatment, education, and support to individuals and families as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and choices. The Counselor will provide direct support to individuals and families experiencing substance use disorders. This may include utilizing evidenced based treatment modalities and referrals to other treatment when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited program
- Current NH state licensure
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a health care setting
Essential Functions of the position:
- Provide drug and alcohol counseling and support to individuals and families
- Provide referrals to treatment programs outside of the healthcare system when appropriate
- Manage and administer an office based drug and alcohol treatment program
- Perform other duties as assigned

This facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering medical, surgical, and intensive care to the community. They also have a wide variety of outpatient services available including cardiac and physical rehabilitation, full-staffed oncology department, 24-hour emergency care, a fully-equipped laboratory, and an extensive radiology department.
