Job Description
DirectShifts is seeking a Assistant Program Director to work in Alpine, CA.
Work Schedule(s):
Full-Time (40 hrs per week)
Working Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
On-Call Responsibilities: This position is required to be available on-call.
Key Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment physical examination
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- Designated Drug Testing required
- Able to successfully pass a criminal background Investigation (DOJ/FBI)
- Crisis intervention experience
- Team player
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and management skills.
- All licensed personnel will be required to obtain and provide a National Provider Number (NPI number).
Required Qualifications:
Education or Training: Minimum of M.A. or M.S. in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of (2) two years of management experience in a clinical role.
Certification: Current/Valid CPR certification (AHA AED/BLS/Healthcare Provider). Licensure: Licensed as Psychologist, MFT, LCSW, LPCC. If licensed in the State of California, full current and unrestricted license to practice in the applicable discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license as the position may require driving company vehicles. (preferred)
- Experience in quality assurance and process improvement methods (preferred).
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Training or experience with electronic medical records (e.g. Cerner) (preferred).
Skill:
- Skill in using computers and learn new software programs.
- Skill in utilizing an empathetic approach with clients and their families.
