Qualifications for the Social Worker:
Licensed LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC
2+ years of direct clinical experience in a co-occurring treatment program
BA/BS Addictions Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
Certification as Behavioral Health Counselor
- Must possess knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders.
Responsibilities for the Social Worker:
Provides counseling services
Acts as part of the treatment team in decision making client treatment and for therapeutic programming
Utilizes the ASAM to assess for severity, acuity, immediacy of program
Maintains regular contact and working relationships, with related health and social services agencies to maximize resources
Assists other staff and agencies in providing community recovery projects and activities
