Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)
StartDate: 05/17/2021Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2250.00
Responsible for making sure equipment is operational prior to performing patient procedures.- Responsible for cleaning and stocking rooms after every exam.- Assists physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients of diverse ages.- Operate cardiac catheterization equipment to include but not limited to: IVUS, Angiojet, Cutting Balloon, IABP, Rotoblater, lmpella, Pericardiocentesis, Permanent Pacemaker, ICD, CRT and CRT-D.- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of all supplies used to be able to anticipate physician needs during procedure. Requirements:- Associates Degree- A least two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Catheterization Lab.- Registered ARRT Certification Required. - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist RCIS, preferred or required within 12 months of hire.- Current BLS and ALS
