Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2200.00
EP tech needed for 13 weeks in NE. EXPECTED HRS: 7am-5:30pm 4 days/week plus late shift. Late shift is on a sign-up basis and requires a team of 3 to stay and finish procedures that are not complete by end of shift. The more staff there are, the less each member needs to fill. It is currenlty 7-9 days/month but should be decreasing.
Required Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS: MUST HAVE 2+ REFERENCES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT IN PROFILE IN ORDER TO BE SUBMITTED.
General Job Duties:
5 labs: 3 cath labs and 2 EP labs
-8 bed holding room (pre/post)
-adult patients (14 and older)
- Scrub/pan and/or recorder (Cardiolab) for EP lab. Scrub implants, device changes, ablations for all arrythmia's, lead extractions, loop recorders.
Equipment:
EPIC for electronic medical record
Cardiolab for hemodynamic monitoring
GE and Philips x-ray equipment
Omnicell med cabinets, pyxis stock cabinets
Medtronic temporary pacing generators
LifePak defibrillators for EP cases
BLS
ACLS
RCIS
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years experience in EP lab procedures preferred
