Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)
StartDate: 08/05/2019Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2250.00
HOUSTON, TEXAS. START DATE: 8/5/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 6:30A-5P and 8-12 days call per month. REQUIRED SKILLS: ARRT or RCIS. ARRT and NEURO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. Type of equipment - Philips / MacLab. EMR is Meditech. Cath LAb scrub experience with ability to scrub and pan simultaneously. Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cardiac and peripheral caths, Pacemaker/AICD implants, Dialysis catheter placement / Port-a-cath placement, Fistula de-clots, General interventional radiology procedures. Tell us about the unit(s):" Number of Beds - 3 cath labs - 10 bay recovery" Number of Staff - 12 FT and 6 PRN" Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 RN, 1 scrub tech, and 1 monitor tech per team (2-3 teams per day)o Night Shift - on call team" Patient Ratios - 1:1" Type of equipment - Philips / MacLab" EMR - Meditech" 4 - 10 hour shifts per week starting at 07:00 and 8-12 days call per monthTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role." EP " ACLS and BCLS" Cath lab scrub experience with ability to scrub and pan simultaneouslyPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first." Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology experienceList typical procedures performed on unit(s):" Cardiac and peripheral caths" Pacemaker/AICD implants" Dialysis catheter placement / Port-a-cath placement" Fistula de-clots" General interventional radiology proceduresDress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire."
