Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)
StartDate: 10/01/2018Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $41.00 - 46.00
SHIFT: VAREID 10 HOUR DAYS and 10-14 days of on-call per month required.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)] required. Current Certification from Washington State as a Radiology Technician. BLS required. Advanced Vascular Intervention Certification preferred. Washington Society of Radiological Technologist (WSRT) recommended. Performing special interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels, they are under the direction of a licensed physician using radiologic imaging for guiding the procedure. Work includes but is not limited to (1) reviewing and/or recording pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data; (2) preparing patients for testing; (3) using C-arms, fluoroscopy, and tomography to perform exams and procedures and obtaining a record of anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician; (4) participating in interventional cardiovascular catheterization and/or cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including balloon angioplasty, stent insertion, radiofrequency ablation, and pacemaker and/or implantable defibrillator insertion; (5) compiling a foundation of data that is interpreted by physicians in order to make a correct anatomic, physiologic, and pathologic diagnosis for each patient
