Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 9.5 D Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2250.00
MUST HAVE 2+ REFERENCES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT IN PROFILE IN ORDER TO BE SUBMITTED. Performs cine, digital subtraction angiography and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in order to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients. In doing so, prepares examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that's appropriate to the stages of patients served while always following established guidelines for safety. Also operates the physiologic monito to record functions of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems of patients during procedures. Location: Peoria, IL- OSF Saint Francis Medical Center
Required Qualifications
2+ references in the last 2 years AND no employment gaps. MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE EDUCATION VERIFICATION. NO ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR ANY FOCUS ONE JOB.
1+ year(s) experience as Cath Lab Tech. Knowledge of principles/procedures of diagnostic radiology as normally acquired through completion of two years post high school training at an approved School of Radiologic Technology with six months related training in radiologic special procedures. Registered with the ARRT and licensed by IL Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), CPR Cert- REQUIRED.
