Job Description
Experienced Audiologist needed to join a team in Vermont
Join a community, not for profit, acute care, critical access hospital. We are one of two Vermont hospitals designated as a Baby Friendly hospital. We also provide primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care and 24 hour, physician staffed emergency services.
Additional info:
- 2+ years experience strongly preferred
- Masters or Au.D. in Audiology required
- The Audiologist works in collaboration with a team of Otolaryngologists to perform comprehensive Audiology evaluations and testing for both adult and pediatric patients
- Works to assist patients with hearing aid selection, fitting and counseling regarding their hearing loss appropriate to their lifestyle
- Provides the latest digital technology, able to fit, adjust and repair major brands of hearing devices, and provide physician referrals
- Performs follow-up care and maintains records
