(Archived) Compliance Coordinator
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Compliance Specialist will assist in creating, implementing, and managing compliance policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations for assigned clinics.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists in preparation for AAASF inspections and accreditations of new and/or existing clinics
- Conducts research and interprets statues/regulations that require compliance across assigned clinics
- Organizes and keeps compliance manuals current for assigned clinics in alignment with state and AAAASF requirements
- Assists leadership in driving education and achievement of clinic department goals, objectives and processes
- Proactively escalates to the Clinical Manager and/or VP, Clinical Operations any perceived obstacles, barriers, problems or unusual circumstances with respect to compliance measures and outcomes
- Collaborates with appropriate departments to ensure compliance is met at all times in accordance with established policies and procedures

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong research skills with know-how on deducing information in context of business objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- Previous experience in healthcare, compliance or legal research is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds at times
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 25% required travel between out of state clinics
