Qualifications:

Formal Education Medical Administration Specialist shall have a Bachelors degree (business, informatics, technology or related degree). Additionally, Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI)
certification is preferred but not required.

Experience - Medical Administration Specialists shall have technical or PM experience and three years of experience as a PM supporting health initiatives and projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Medical Administration Specialist shall have the ability for critical thinking to assess patient safety when determining acuity of patient needs and the safety for patient movement. Demonstrated knowledge of CHCS, AHLTA, and Microsoft Access, Excel, Work, and PowerPoint is highly encouraged but contractor with previous experience in Virtual Health management without previous use of those tools will be considered acceptable.

Specific Job Duties:

5.4.1. Oversee and monitor the review, coordination, and tracking of Virtual Healthcare referrals,
urgent/ASAP referrals, and VA-DOD sharing referrals. This position will monitor the clinical
workflow of the Virtual Health Consult manager(s).

5.4.2. Provide project management technical support, analysis, data management, and server
management to sustain the operational computing environment, to include HELP, PATH, and GTP
programs.

5.4.3. Assist TAMC, NMCP and NMCSD customers in design, engineering, integration, testing,
security certification, logistics support, development, configuration, implementation, and systems
administration.

5.4.4. Assist with IM/IT projects affecting network operations IAW current Defense Information
Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide (DISA STIG). The contractor shall review
and evaluate software / hardware applications to determine adherence to information assurance
policies and procedures.

5.4.5. Identify technical and functional issues with the system and formulate detailed change requests
to address identified defects. The contractor shall contribute to the design, development, testing,
implementation, and documentation of new requirements, change requests and system updates related to the Asynchronous VH platform.

5.4.6. Hold weekly training for both clinical and administrative users on system usage in person and
remotely. The contractor shall develop system documentation and training material including, but not
limited to User Guides and Standard Operating Procedures.

5.4.7. Create and manage system User Account Requests. When needed, creates new accounts and
deactivates old accounts for VH platforms. Provides basic customer service to system users who are
having technical issues with the platform and have basic service needs such as password resets.

5.5 The contractor project manager at TAMC and NMCSD in coordination with the COR and
approved by the Contracting Officer, manages the local telework and alternate work schedule
programs for the Contractor.
