Sycamore Springs - Market EOC Director

Sycamore Springs is a 48-bed behavioral hospital located in Lafayette, IN. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. EOC Director is responsible for ensuring the physical plant meets all TJC, CMS, NFPA and state regulations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors. Performs all scheduled inspections, testing, and drills, documents these and reports on them. The Director will function as Safety and Security Officer and Emergency Planning liaison for the facility. The Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, functional, and clean physical environment for patients, employees and guests. Direct staff reports may include EVS, and Plant Operations.

Position Details:

• Director may perform or oversee various tasks, such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, equipment maintenance, grounds work, and janitorial duties and dietary functions with minimal supervision. Conducts and supervises maintenance and repair projects. Obtains quotes and oversees special projects as assigned. Leads dietary function to meet all state and federal guidelines, ensures quality of food, service and clean, safe environment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience
• Valid Drivers License favorable Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in the past 2 years along with proof of insurance.
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training CPI within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements preferred.
