School Special Education Teacher
Swainsboro, GA
Currently Seeking a School Special Education Teacher for the 20/21 school year in Swainsboro, GA. Both Local and Travel candidates are welcome to apply.
Special Education Teacher Responsibilities- Provide specialized instructional goals and objectives contained within each student’s IEP
- Assess and monitor each student’s progress and adjust instructional techniques and reinforcement as needed
- Schedules team meetings and works as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop successful instructional goals and techniques
- Composes Lesson Plans
- Complies with school board policies and all state and federal rules and regulation
Special Education Teacher Requirements
- Special Education Teacher working experience required.
- Education and certification requirement per state requirements
- Prior experience teaching a self contained class.
- A Special Education Teaching Certificate
