Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Program Manager. You will work directly with our Privacy Officer and the Special Assistant to the President to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and schedule.

Assigned by the T2 Chief Operating Officer and under the direction of the relevant program leads for each discrete initiative, Project Managers will be responsible for program and project management support for one or more of the following:


Job Description

  • Supporting and leading efforts to maintain a positive patient experience for New Yorkers getting tested for COVID-19.
  • Providing hands-on logistical support for the launch of new initiatives and/or expansion of existing initiatives with additional testing teams, vehicles, and/or testing sites.
  • Coordinating with various NYC Health + Hospital departments, such as Facilities, IT, Supply Chain, and Safety to ensure adherence to established processes, resolve problems, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing timely, routine reporting on a variety of items, including an inventory of critical personal protective equipment and other supplies, non-clinical staffing, and other quantitative or qualitative data, as directed.
  • Executing on the day-to-day operations of hyperlocal test sites by supporting the testing, contact tracing, and the Take Care staff and management.
  • Independently managing all aspects of the project lifecycle for assigned workstreams including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery, and ensuring T2 initiatives aligns directly supports the achievement of strategic Test and Trace objectives.
  • Supporting T2 leadership by ensuring they have all necessary operational and administrative tools and by proactively escalating high priority issues and risks for their review as appropriate.
  • Developing and executing administrative and operational processes and process improvements, and other core methods relating to the execution and management of operations, working in close coordination with other T2 Test initiatives.
  • As required, overseeing the successful launch of testing sites and/or mobile and micro teams, which may include, but is not limited to, the following day to day responsibilities.
  • Monitoring staffing levels and identify staffing needs or areas for adjustment.
  • Relaying information to staffing agencies as needed, which could include conversations around trends needing mitigation, roster issues, schedule changes, etc.
  • Identifying community-based organizations for partnership with Microsites or Mobile Units, and problem solving in cases of cancellations or shortage of partners.
  • Managing new and ongoing supply needs required for operation.
  • Providing on-site support for staff mediation, to problem solve issues specific to a testing site, and to monitor performance.
  • Providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Skills Required

  • 5-year experience capital program.
  • 2 years in admin and management Department Preferences
  • If motivated Project Manager with experience delegating to and managing 3 to 4 junior staff.
  • Specific experience in overseeing, developing, and/or managing a regulatory based policies and procedures research project is strongly desired (health care industry ideal).
  • Relevant experience in project management, with a track record of managing projects from conceptualization to scale.
  • Ability to complete work independently with broadly defined work objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including ability to tailor technical material to a variety of audiences (e.g., administrative, and technical leaders; front-line staff).
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, transparency, and accountability in all work product.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with a variety of individuals, groups, and organizations.
  • Previous staff management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in NYC government and/or public health entities/hospitals/community-based organizations preferred.
  • NYC residency preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.


Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Graduate degree may substitute one year of experience.

Pay Rate

  • $78.00 per hour
