Description: The Director of Quality and Risk Management is responsible for oversight of all quality initiatives to include monitoring quality metrics at the unit level. This position oversees regulatory readiness through assessment and implementation of measures to meet regulatory requirements. The Director evaluates the overall care of patients by identifying opportunities for improvement in patient care practice. Through identification of process improvements and educational opportunities, communication, and reporting state of quality to several groups.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare Administration
• Current Kentucky State Registered Nurse License
• 5 years’ experience in Acute Care setting
• 1 year of Leadership experience
• 1 year of Project Management or Quality Improvement experience

• Applies key financial concepts and analysis to decision making. Participates in the budget planning process. Adheres to realistic budgets to achieve the organization's objectives.

• Effectively applies the tools, processes, skills, and principles to achieve the required outcomes of a change project or initiative.
