Director of Environmental Care

Westpark Springs is a 72 -bed behavioral hospital located near Houston in Richmond, TX. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. The EOC department plays an essential role in helping fulfill our mission of "Changing People's Lives". Our Director is responsible for ensuring the physical plant meets all The Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA and state regulations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

Position Details:

• Performs all scheduled inspections, testing, and drills, as required by state, federal government, The Joint Commission and NFPA.
• Document these and reports outcomes to Safety Committee in a timely manner
• Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, functional, and clean physical environment for patients, employees and guests.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent

• Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements helpful.
• Current encumbered clinical licensure and valid driver's license and favorable Motor Vehicle Report with proof of insurance.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 day of employment
