Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

Computed tomography technologists, or CT technologists, specialize in a particular method of medical imaging that utilizes tomography. CT technologists must follow all regulations concerning the use of radiation so as to protect themselves, as well as patients and coworkers, from unnecessary exposure.

Required Qualifications
" State of HI Radiologic Technologist License
" ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required
" BLS
" Experience with Toshiba and GE Equipment
" Minimum of 5 years current CT experience
" Previous Travel assignments.
" NEW EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree from an approved program recognized by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Effective March 2014. Relevant substitutions allowed.
