Job Description
A Certified Medication Technician/Certified Medication Aide is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the gathering of information during the clinical process under supervision of Registered Nurses or LPNs. Assists all nurses with performing activities commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. Ability to work under pressure and relate well to patients, security staff, visitors and co-workers Shift:Full-Time, Days Location:El Dorado Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities. Education Complete an accredited Medication Technician/Medication Aide course Experience Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred Licenses/Certifications Must have and maintain current certification as a Medication Technician/Medication Aide if certification is required by the State. For states that do not require this position to be certified, a certification is not required.
