Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)

ACUTE hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Speech THERAPIST to join the team in their ACUTE UNIT. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:

• Acute
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatry
• Rehabilitation
• School

Required Qualifications
Fulltime SLP for inpatient acute rehab (SRI). Candidates needs acute care and preferably acute rehab experience, must be proficient in dysphagia, cognition.
