School system is looking for a highly motivated and energetic SLPwho is passionate about helping children achieve success. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:

• Acute
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatry
• Rehabilitation
• School

Required Qualifications

Requirements: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

o Current state license as a Speech Pathologist.
o Graduate of Speech Pathologist program accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association, and holds or is eligible for a certificate of clinical competence granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
o Minimum of one year experience in a School Setting, acute care facility, out-patient setting, community health service, home health agency or private practice in the past two years preferred.
o Current CPR card.
