Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)
StartDate: 08/11/2014Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $39.00 - 41.50

/REHAB hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic SLPo join the team in their INPATIENT REHAB UNIT. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:
" Nationally recognized rehab company
" Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a SLP and/or registered as aSLP per state requirements.



Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:

  • Acute
  • Home health
  • Long-term care
  • Outpatient
  • Pediatric
  • Psychiatry
  • Rehabilitation
  • School


Required Qualifications
MUST HAVE RECENT ACUTE CARE EXP
