Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $39.00-41.50 *

Acute hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic speech language pathologist to join the team in their inpatient rehab unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:

• Acute
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatry
• Rehabilitation
• School

Required Qualifications
BLS card and background check required
1 year of travel experience required
Traveler should be proficient in modified barium swallow studies
Active AZ license
