Speech & Language Pathologist - (SLP)
StartDate: 02/24/2014Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $39.00-41.50 *
Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:
- Acute
- Home health
- Long-term care
- Outpatient
- Pediatric
- Psychiatry
- Rehabilitation
- School
Required Qualifications
NC Speech Pathology License and CCC's required. At least 1 year of experience required. Experience with swallow studies required.

Pinehurst is a village in Moore County, North Carolina now famous for its Spa and Golf Academy. In 2000 Pinehurst had a population of 9,706, so you can imagine how it must have grown since then.
