Sonographers are certified to operate equipment that collects reflected echoes and forms images that physicians use during the diagnostic and treatment process. Diagnostic medical sonographers may specialize in a variety of areas (e.g., OB/GYN sonography, abdominal sonography, neurosonography, vascular sonography, breast sonography, and cardia/echo sonography).[Register to View]
