Medical Dosimetrist - (MED DOS)

As a member of the radiation oncology team, a medical dosimetrist works under the supervision of the medical physicist and radiation oncologist and calculates the radiation dose distributions. Medical dosimetrists have a working knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology treatment equipment and brachytherapy procedures.
