Rehab hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic physical therapist to join the team in their Inpatient Rehab Unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:
· Interested candidates must have 3 years of experience
· Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT and/or registered as a physical therapist per state requirements.
· 40-bed acute rehab hospital for patients who have suffered strokes, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, burns or major joint replacements.

A physical therapist (PT) is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients of all ages who suffer from physical conditions that limit the ability to move and/or perform daily functional activities. A PT has a number of job functions, including assessing the patient and creating an individualized treatment plan to work on the areas that could use improvement. In assisting with a patient’s physical therapy, a PT also incorporates preventative measures against the loss of motor skills and promotes overall healthier lifestyles. The settings worked in include:

• Acute
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatric
• Rehabilitation
• School
• Sports medicine

Required Qualifications
- Must have prior inpatient rehab experience, preferably in stroke, spinal cord injury and/or brain injury.
- Must have at least 1 year work experience as a Rehab Hospital setting - (not in a rehab clinic)
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday; 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.. Traveler must be flexible with shift, as manager will look to determine best need for facility

Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers at least 3 years non-SNF experience
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred
