Physical Therapist - Home Health - (PT - HH)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $45.00 - 47.50

Home healthcare company is seeking a self starting, highly motivated Physical Therapist to join the team. Therapist will treat an adult and geriatric population seeing approximately 5-6 patients per day. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:
·Ideal candidates will have recent home health experience
·Bi-Lingual a plus (Spanish or Khmer)
·Client utilizes HealthWise & PalmWise electronic charting software
·Coverage area includes Brighton & Quincy
·Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT and/or registered as a Physical Therapist per state requirements.

A physical therapist (PT) is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients of all ages who suffer from physical conditions that limit the ability to move and/or perform daily functional activities. A PT has a number of job functions, including assessing the patient and creating an individualized treatment plan to work on the areas that could use improvement. In assisting with a patient’s physical therapy, a PT also incorporates preventative measures against the loss of motor skills and promotes overall healthier lifestyles. The settings worked in include:

• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatric
• Rehabilitation
• School
• Sports medicine

Required Qualifications
-MA license
-No new grads
-Must complete HCI course if no previous homecare experience

Preferred Qualifications
-Homecare experience
-Experience with HealthWise & PalmWise electronic charting software.
