Acute Care hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Physical Therapist to join the team in their Inpatient Rehab Unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

A physical therapist (PT) is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients of all ages who suffer from physical conditions that limit the ability to move and/or perform daily functional activities. A PT has a number of job functions, including assessing the patient and creating an individualized treatment plan to work on the areas that could use improvement. In assisting with a patient’s physical therapy, a PT also incorporates preventative measures against the loss of motor skills and promotes overall healthier lifestyles. The settings worked in include:

• Acute
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatric
• Rehabilitation
• School
• Sports medicine

Required Qualifications
- CA License
- 1 year of Acute experience
- BLS
- Willingness to work weekends

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in ICU or CDU preferred

This facility features 207 staffed acute-care hospital beds and 28 skilled-nursing beds. Delivering a continuum of care from birth to end of life, experienced healthcare professionals provide such care as behavioral health, family birth and lactation services, sleep disorder, and a stroke services.
