The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples, usually by way of venipuncture or fingersticks. If they have specialized training, phlebotomists may also collect arterial blood samples from the radial artery or brachial artery.

Located along Highway 49, this small town was established during the California Gold Rush. Because of its historical significance, San Andreas is listed as a California Historical Landmark and offers a peek into what life was like in the 1850s, with a few buildings still intact and a museum dedicated to the town's rich past.
