Loyal Source Government Services is currently hiring an Occupational Therapist for the Indian Health Service in Ogema, Mn to work as a civilian contractor. Qualifications: • The Occupational Therapist shall hold a degree or certificate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association. • The Occupational Therapist shall have a minimum of one year experience in an outpatient setting. Scope of Work: • The Occupational Therapist shall evaluate and treat referred outpatients. • The Occupational Therapist shall provide direct outpatient care without regard to the patients’ medical complexity or diagnosis. • The Occupational Therapist shall treat patients in individual sessions that promote recovery and restoration to pre-morbid functional capacity or to the maximum functional potential. These treatments may include fabrication of splints and other prosthetic items. • The Occupational Therapist shall provide outpatient care which is appropriate to the cognitive, emotional, and chronological maturation needs of the adult and/or geriatric patient. • The Occupational Therapist shall provide outpatient/family education, to include safe therapeutic practices.
