Qualifications: • Must possess and maintain a valid unrestricted current license from any United States jurisdiction. • Must have at least 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience in the United States. • BLS Certification is required. • Must not have any record of disciplinary action that would currently exclude, suspend, or terminate him/her as an authorized Department of Veterans Affairs health care provider. • Shall have graduated from a degree program in Occupational Therapy from a college or university approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to effectively communicate with all personnel eligible for medical care. • The contract therapist shall have and demonstrate sufficient experience to be able to evaluate and treat disease and injuries to include, but not limited, to the following: • Musculoskeletal • Neuromuscular • Cardiovascular/Pulmonary • Integumentatry • Must complete mandatory training required for clinicians in accordance to STVHCS and VA requirements.
