Occupational Therapist - Skilled - (OT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $41.00-46.00 *
Acute care hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join the team in their Skilled/LTC Unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.
Additional Requirements/Information:
-Interested candidates must have experience in a SNF/LTC setting.
-Nationally recognized facility
-Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an OT and/or registered as a Occupational Therapist per state requirements.
An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site evaluations, and maintain an open line of communication with patients’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:
- Acute
- Hand
- Home health
- Long-term care
- Outpatient
- Pediatric
- Psychiatric
- Rehabilitation
- School
Required Qualifications
-NY license
-Experience in Long term care, Nursing home facility
