Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Skilled - (COTA - Skilled)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $28.00 - 30.50

Well respected skilled nursing facility (SNF) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who is highly motivated and energetic to join the team. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment

The role of the certified occupational therapist assistants (COTA) is to assist patients with rehabilitation and exercise activities that the occupational therapist has outlined in the treatment plan. In occupational therapy, a COTA aids patients in a number of various activities, such as:

  • Wheelchair activities
  • Energy conservation
  • Joint protection techniques
    • Occupational therapist assistants also provide motivation and encouragement for patients, and can work in a variety of settings that includes:
      • Acute
      • Home health
      • Outpatient
      • Skilled Nursing


Required Qualifications
Contract Length in weeks (If Temporary): 13
Minimum Years Experience Required: 1
Additional Facility Requirements: All agencies must provide their employees a name badge. All employees must have that name badge on the first day. If this is not possible, please contact Medefis prior to the start date. Dress code is established facility by facility. ManorCare has a system-wide policy of no facial piercings. This is a Medefis Billing Client - All timecards and invoices are to be sent to Medefis weekly.
