Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - School - (COTA - School)
School system is looking for a highly motivated and energetic COTA who is passionate about helping children achieve success. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

The role of the certified occupational therapist assistants (COTA) is to assist patients with rehabilitation and exercise activities that the occupational therapist has outlined in the treatment plan. In occupational therapy, a COTA aids patients in a number of various activities, such as:

  • Wheelchair activities
  • Energy conservation
  • Joint protection techniques
    • Occupational therapist assistants also provide motivation and encouragement for patients, and can work in a variety of settings that includes:
      • Acute
      • Home health
      • Outpatient
      • Skilled Nursing
