Job Description

We currently represent an opening for a Health Information Management (HIM) Director in the great state of New Mexico. The candidate would be responsible for leading and managing health information Services including Record Completion in compliance with Medical Staff Rules & Regulations and Joint Commission.

Position Specifics:
• Base Salary and Relocation Assistance given
• 60 Bed Hospital, 400+ Employees, all employees at-will except Doctors and Midlevels, and a low turnover rate of under 8%
• RHIA or RHIT certified, Joint Commissions experience, Plan of coding, ICD 10-CM and CPT
• Ability to manage25 + employees, lead coding quality with all coders and physicians
• Overall Management and Development of the Health Information Department
• Community of 25,000, county of 75,000 and service area of over 120,000
