4 week assignment with possible extensions in an inpatient psych dept. Adult population. Call for details

Social workers are responsible for providing psychological support to people, families or vulnerable communities to give them the coping mechanisms they need to combat ailments. Social workers also provide advice for family caregivers, counsel patients, and help organize the patient’s treatment plan following discharge from the facility. The social worker works in a variety of settings, such as:

• Acute
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient

Required Qualifications
inpatient psych experience

Preferred Qualifications
current MD lic preferred
