Job Description

QuarterLine provides professional health care staffing services to military hospitals and health clinics across the United States. We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist at Ft. Riley, Kansas.

The duties include but are not limited to the following:
Must possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that the HCP can relate to a variety of patients from diverse backgrounds.
Able to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft applications, such as Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc., and efficiently utilize an Electronic Medical Record.
Must use the various clinical automation systems as required, such as, but not limited to Composite Health Care System (CHCS), Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Ambulatory Data System (ADS), and Defense Medical Human Resource System – internet (DMHRSi).
Must be required to meet Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements in AR 351-3 or as determined by the provider’s state of licensure, whichever is more stringent. The Government will not reimburse for these costs.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Must hold a Doctorate in clinical or Counseling Psychology from an approved and accredited program by the American Psychological Association (APA). Graduate programs and internships must also be APA approved.

Experience: Must have proficiency in administration and interpretation of basic psychological test measures to include: Intelligence Testing, Personality Testing with Objective and Projective Testing, Symptom Validity Measures and basic neuropsychological screening techniques, such as Mental Status exams, Cognitive Screening instruments (i.e., RBANS, NAB) or Dementia Rating Scales. HCPs are required to administer and interpret these instruments within the context of a comprehensive report to be used for therapeutic or Medical Board purposes. All testing services offered must follow current testing guidelines established by APA.

Must have sufficient skills, knowledge and experience to perform the specific tasks listed for this specialty.

License: Must have and maintain a valid unrestricted license to practice psychiatry in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine at the MTF.

Certification: Have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is the only program accepted. BLS recertification shall be maintained in a current status at all times while the HCP is performing services under this contract.

Privileges: Must be able to obtain privileges and be credentialed as (appropriate) by the MTF’s Credential Committee.
