Psychologist – CBT – children and teens

THE LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland / Telehealth – At least one day per week in person is preferred

Ready for a change? We are seeking CBT experienced licensed psychologists who have at least 2 years of experience with children and teens. This fee for service practice is based in Bethesda, Maryland, but you are able to work anywhere in the United States as long as you are licensed in one of the above mentioned PsyPact states. Ideally, the hiring manager prefers psychologists who are willing and able to see patients in person, in Bethesda at least 1 day per week.

This practice specializes in CBT and exposure based treatments for individuals with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and trauma related disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in CBT as well as direct experience conducting exposure based treatments for children and teens.

We are seeking psychologists who value collaboration, but who can also work independently. You will be offering services via a secure, online teletherapy platform if you prefer providing services via telhealth. If you are willing to see patients in person, that is greatly appreciated!

You are able to make your own schedule with this position and you will be providing services to children and teens. The practice provides weekly group case consultations, training incentives and a steady stream of patients.

Since this is a fee for service practice, we are seeking psychologists who are not credentialed through insurance companies.




QUALIFICATIONS:

-Valid and current independent clinical psychologist license to practice in Maryland or any PsyPact state is required

-At least 2 years of direct CBT experience (including graduate experience) with children and teens is required

-This practice cannot accept psychologists who are credentialed with insurance companies while working for their practice
