Laboratory Manager or Clinical Lab Manager Position in Georgia

NEW Laboratory Manager or Clinical Laboratory Manager opening at an Award Winning Health System in Georgia! This 150 bed, acute care hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including (but not limited to) 24/7 emergency services, radiology services, women's services and general medical and surgical services.

This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full time Laboratory Manager to oversee the operations of their full service lab. Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for overall quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.
• Assists with review and revision of procedures and documentation
• Participates in competency assessment program
• Participates in planning and implementing change
• Responsible for overseeing all laboratory staff

For consideration, applicants must have BS or MS Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science and ASCP Certification as a MT or MLS or CLS (or equivalent). In addition, applicants must have previous hospital based leadership experience ideally in a high volume laboratory.
