(Archived) Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT or CPSGT)

Currently looking for a Polysomnographic Technician to fill an opening within a Hospital facility located around the Bridgewater, Vermont area. Interested candidates should have two years of Sleep experience and currently RPSGT or CPSGT certified. Additionally, candidates should have an active, or pending, Vermont State Respiratory Therapist license, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities of the Polysomnographic Technician

• RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist by the BRPT) or CPSGT!
• Provide respiratory therapy modalities per facilities’ protocol
• Patient population includes both pediatric and adult patients
• Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Requirements of the Polysomnographic Technician

• RPSGT or CPSGT certified
• If CPSGT, must take Registry exam before certification expires.
• Active Vermont State Respiratory Therapist license
• Current BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Passionate about adult care
• Night shifts
